I bought this unit after extensive review of low priced units. Most reviews stated what I will say.....Great value for the money. Very heavy on bas and will fill a room that is 20' x 20' with music. Good enough for me!

No sound was coming out of one of the little speakers after a months use. I called the manufactures support line. They asked me some questions to determine the issue. They ended up sending out a new unit free of charge. I didn't even have to return the old unit. I have had the new unit for 7 months and haven't had any problems.

I do some gaming, but I'm more interested in listening to music. These do the job for both applications to my satisfaction. I have a "real" stereo set up when I want to rattle the windows so I didn't expect these to replace that or even perform half as well ... but I am quite pleased with the crisp highs and solid midrange. The bass is good (not great) but you can feel it at low to moderately high volume and it does have a separate bass volume control (that alone is worth kudos). logitech promo code

The one-star deduction is for distortion. These lose clarity at high (75%+) volume but, for me, they perform exceedingly well for the price. In fact, I returned a $200+ setup and replaced it with this one ... and this performs MUCH better in my ever humble opinion. To be fair, the expensive ones got great reviews so I have to assume the ones I received were blown; either that or they were doing a good imitation of being blown right out of the box. As always, it depends on what you're looking for. Don't expect these to rock your world, but if you like a wide range of music (beyond the chatter of machine-gun fire and tzinging of lasers), these should keep your ears and your budget as happy as they are keeping mine.

This is a great portable speaker system! Bought it for an outdoor luau. Clear sound from across a very large backyard. Also played it in the house at a lower volume and it had clear, beautiful sound. Comes with a pouch for easy storage and transport. Highly recommended. Don't forget that if you have an older iPod like I do, you will need to buy a separate male-male mic connector. The dock shown is the universal dock, which will accomodate iPads and iPhones and newer iPods, but not the earlier models, or things like the iPod Nano.

Logitech S220 Review

Bought mostly because fairly good reviews here and affordable price. I have been very impressed with the sound and like the volume control/headphone jack/mic Jack. This replaced a good old set that had similar bass but the overall sound quality is much better with this new set. Only wonder about long term reliability because of some of the other reviews but don't know how it was used or handled.
